NEW restaurant Name: Waiting for May by Ori9insFarm to table! Boy what a treat for Chiang Mai, all the ingredients are grown here locally on their farm, and provided for their restaurant and soon to be other local restaurants in the area. James ( the owner & Chef ) started with the same concept in Hua Hin, supplying 12 Michelin star restaurants in Bangkok, but decided on moving to Chiang Mai for growth opportunities. 500 rai farm. The menu is different every night, focused on trying new ideas and dishes. White menu 1500b, includes a farm day pass (500b value). The dishes were mixed with unique flavoring, and a hint of spicy ex: catfish with sauté sauce, ginger and other spices. Impressive. The idea is to offer other protein categories instead of the norm chicken and pork, and feature other meats like rabbit, and other farm animals as an example. The second course was satay ice cream. Genius! If you want more of a particular dish, just ask. The menu is bound inside children’s books, and various travel books to add entertainment and fun for the kids and adults.
