From a very young adolescence years, Chef David gives a very high regard and credited admiration for his beloved Grandmother and exquisite German cook, who in turn masterly instilled his cooking ethics. From simply going out to the family garden and finding essential ingredients for the day, he says his food vocabulary quickly flourished; in addition, taking pause to her talented ways and exceptional cooking skills.
Spending 3 years in a German culinary school and 3 years in hotel / restaurant apprenticeship including Michelin star restaurants, Chef David has been able to establish a well rounded and admired understanding of good cooking and doing it the right way. David goes on to claim “anyone can make a chicken, but finding the most perfect sauce is the pinnacle to an elaborate creation”.
